I recently designed and built this portfolio for Aaron Israel — fully from scratch using Figma for Design, and HTML & CSS.
No frameworks. No shortcuts. Just structure, spacing, and intentional design.
The goal wasn’t to make something flashy.
It was to create a portfolio that feels effortless to use and lets the work speak immediately.
A few things I focused on:
• Clean visual hierarchy so nothing competes for attention
• Thoughtful spacing and typography to guide the eye
• Performance — fast, lightweight, no unnecessary bloat
• A structure that reflects real product thinking, not just visuals
Sometimes the best design is the one you don’t notice… because everything just makes sense.

From the logo and visual identity to UX/UI, art direction, 3D visual elements, motion design, and full website development, every aspect was crafted to reflect the studio's cinematic approach. Inspired by the concept of a mine, the visual language features floating stone formations, creating a distinctive and memorable brand experience.
The website also features a fully custom cinematic navigation system, replacing conventional page browsing with an immersive storytelling journey through smooth transitions and carefully choreographed interactions.

Augie has no fixed interface of its own. It lives inside whatever system a logistics team already runs, which created a specific design challenge: how do you show something visually when the product has no fixed home?
The answer was to build abstracted UI that puts the brand guidelines into practice as a working chat interface. We aimed to show founders what Augie does in one glance without requiring them to read a feature description or sit through a demo.
Both light and dark versions are shown side by side. This was also a styling exercise. The visual language defined here became the foundation for every use case animation across the product, giving the entire website a consistent feel even though Augie itself appears in many different environments.
For a product that lives inside other products, making it visible was the entire design job.
