The internet has changed our idea of what “normal” looks like.
You see someone building a company from their bedroom.
Someone working from another country.
Someone making money from a skill you didn't even know existed.
Someone your age buying a house.
Someone turning a hobby into a career.
Someone traveling while working.
And suddenly, your own life feels like it's standing still.
But here's what we forget:
You're watching the exceptions.
Millions of people are quietly working, struggling, learning, starting over, and figuring things out.
They just aren't posting about it.
Social media makes extraordinary lives look ordinary.
And that can make an ordinary life feel like failure.
You don't need to constantly prove that you're winning.
You need to build a life that actually makes sense for you.

Late last year I jumped onto a project to help with the branding for Dawn, a company building a product around 24/7 therapy.
One of the concepts I explored was inspired by sunrise, using light and movement to create a sense of calm and clarity.
The logotype would react to the time of day, slowly fading as night drew in.
We ended up keeping a version of the logotype, but I still think this concept could have worked beautifully on the website, changing and reacting as you scrolled.
Even the D logomark followed the same idea, breaking down into segments inspired by a rising sun.
Always fun looking back at the ideas that never quite made it.

RightLife came in looking like an early prototype. It left looking like a company you'd trust with your health data.
Three weeks, five product pages, one scroll section I'm genuinely proud of ("Spend a Day with RightLife"). Same brand DNA, same playfulness, just grown up.
This is what it looks like when maturity doesn't mean losing your personality:)
