MY SUBMISSION FOR THE FLORA MUSEUM CHALLENGE
I built a 5-step spatial transformation journey titled "From 1555 to 2125: A Transformation" on FLORA. The sequence maps a 570-year leap from the physical archive to a speculative digital future, using the exact same anchored pose to show a metamorphosis of material into information. It starts with the historical artifact, deconstructs its material into glowing data, transitions through a human re-embodiment silhouette, and concludes in a luminous zero-gravity sanctuary.
I wanted to explore the afterlife of iconic museum pieces by merging 16th-century history with a far-future aesthetic. Taking inspiration from the Armor of Henry II, King of France (reigned 1547–59) from The Met, I focused on its Renaissance grotesque and Apollo motifs as the single constant thread. By stripping away physical density and turning the forged steel and gold filigree into a floating digital specimen, this project bridges classical European craftsmanship with speculative sci-fi world-building.
