Opened LinkedIn today with absolutely nothing to post. No big client win, no wild screenshot—just me wondering, “What should I share?”
Then I realized freelancers spend so much time waiting: for replies, interviews, and offers. We can’t control when a client hires us, but we can choose what to do while we wait: improve our portfolio, learn something new, build, and keep showing up.
Consistency isn’t about having exciting news every day. It’s about continuing on the ordinary ones, too.
I’m open for new projects, including WordPress and Elementor development, website redesigns, WooCommerce, bug fixes, migrations, and custom web applications. Let’s talk: https://muzzamilahmedkhan.site/contact-me
🚀 Saasti — Smart Automation for Growing Businesses
A modern SaaS website concept designed to turn complex automation into a simple, intuitive experience. With clean layouts, interactive workflow dashboards, vibrant accents, and clear messaging, every section highlights the power of smarter business operations.
Starting on Contra with zero reviews and zero client history.
My plan to land client #1:
→ Publish clearly labeled concept projects
→ Pitch a few local businesses with spec redesigns of their sites
→ Share the process, not just the final visuals
Designers who landed their first client here: what actually moved the needle for you? Portfolio, outreach, or something else?
Good list. I'd add a 6th: the "Discourage search engines from indexing this site" box under Settings → Reading. It often stays ticked after a staging launch and adds noindex to every page. Small note on #4: multiple H1s aren't a problem on their own for Google; a clear heading structure matters more.
