Me? When vibe-coding, Figma is still so important.
I hear some designers say stuff like they haven't opened Figma in a long time, or that they've completely replaced it in their workflow. That always surprises me cos I really don't know how they do it.
Figma is still a big part of my process. It helps:
1️⃣ Flesh out ideas much faster, even if it's still static. With Figma Motion, I can even test out interactions before writing any code.
2️⃣ Export variables and styles. This is a big one. It gives the model the context it needs to build designs that stay consistent.
3️⃣ Quickly see what's in my head without burning tokens or waiting for an agent to finish.
... there are more but this is what I can think of for now.
For sure, my Figma usage has reduced compared to before, but it's still a very important part of how I build.
How much do you still use Figma in your workflow?
