I build brand systems for the people who use a brand most and own it least : the marketers, founders, sales teams, and volunteers making day-to-day content without a designer beside them.
Designers can work from a loose, inspiring guide, it's not an issue for them. But everyone else needs scaffolding: defaults, templates, and clear rules they can't misread.
When I build a system, that's who I'm picturing. The person under deadline who just needs the on-brand option to be the obvious one.
Get that right and the brand stops depending on the design team being in the room. That's the goal: a brand that runs itself.
