Hey network! This week I designed a Cozy Play-Date Set — a fleece pullover hoodie with matching elastic-waist sweatpants, built around a rust, sage, and cream color-block story.
The hard part wasn't the concept; it was the execution:
👉 Color-blocking on a smaller kids' silhouette has to read clean at scale — panels can't just flow; they have to feel intentional across the hood, body, and legs
👉 Every seam and cuff is drafted to spec, not just sketched — this flat could go straight to a sample room
👉 Locked palette (#b4553f / #87977e / #e1d3bb / #3a2b25) so there's zero guesswork for production

That’s Tenjiku.
Sharp, minimal clothing — paired with artwork that feels expressive, personal, and connected to the person wearing it.
To build the identity, we went deep into the meaning and cultural roots behind “Tenjiku” and translated that research into the logo, typography, symbols, and clothing designs.
The logo is just the final piece. The real story is how we got there.
