I used to work at a MNC, where design only came in the picture when they required the output (here, designs). We were never a part of the strategy meeting, why we need this in the first place meeting, what are the metrics we are going to look for? None of that, as I currently a freelancer I am not more in charge of the narrative and I do ask, infer, communicate my idea starting from research to metrics. And I thank my stars, I am able to do so truly blessed with the best clients.
