When Fundamental AI launched with a $255M Series A and a $1.4B valuation, they were covered simultaneously by Amazon Web Services and Axios. The designs arrived less than a week before go-live and weren't finalized. My task was Framer development from their Foundation Designer's work.

On projects with such high stakes, the instinct is to push back: ask for more time, or insist on finalized designs. But the launch window was locked. Instead of debating, I switched to a communication strategy built around extreme transparency. When something wasn't working, I explained why immediately, gave an honest assessment of the implications, and proposed an alternative solution. This meant a lot of quick, clear calls and messages, no ambiguity.

Trust with clients like this isn't about technical skill as much as it is about reliability. They don't need a hero who magically fixes everything. They need someone who keeps them informed at every step, especially when things go wrong. We shipped on time, with zero issues.
