Why "aftrglo"?
When I was dreaming about building my own product, I thought technical limitations would be the thing standing between me and the dream.
Turns out, the hardest part was naming it 😤
I spent monthsss in naming hell.
Nothing clicked. I kept trying to name it.
And trying...
And trying.....
Until it exhausted me so much that I stopped completely.
And then, in a random quiet moment, it arrived. I remember putting my cup on the table and suddenly feeling the name. It hit me so clearly that I literally sat down.
aftrglo!
Because the project doesn't end when the design is done.
There is still one last step:
to show it
And somehow, that step can feel heavier than it should
But showing your work should feel like a small celebration.
A good aftertaste.
A soft stretch after an intense workout.
Not one more heavy lift when your creative muscles are already shaking.

To make the moment after the project feel lighter, softer, and maybe even a little joyful hehe

I know the struggle with naming. I believe naming is subjective though. if it feels good to me, i go with it. not everyone will get why a name is the way it is. Aftrglo is cool though.
