Butter uses voice prompts to make introductions feel more human. I explored two directions for the voice prompt experience:

Version 1 A minimal interface with a clean background that keeps the focus on the user's voice.

Version 2 A more expressive experience with colorful backgrounds that allow users to showcase personality before a conversation even begins.

"The Trio" — An Interactive Character System

Meet The Trio:

Bun, Cap, and Masked — three expressive characters that live inside a dynamic UI and react to everything around them. Each character has a distinct personality reflected through their animations: Bun is curious and jittery, Cap is cool and minimal, and Masked is mysterious and unpredictable.

Built entirely in @Rive , the characters respond to real user input — hover states, clicks, and data triggers bring them to life within the product experience. They don't just play on loop; they react. Tap one and they respond. Interact with the UI and they feel it. @Contra HQ @Contra

The split-grid layout isn't just aesthetic — it's the world they inhabit, where each panel is their stage and the user is the director.
