Entering Somying into the Rive Interactive Character Challenge!

Somying is a project I've been building over time — not just a character that plays an animation and calls it a day, but one with her own little world that users can actually interact with. Inside the room, everything is designed to be interactive — from clicking and dragging to gamepad support, with real-time clock references that automatically shift the room's atmosphere from day to night. The character, animations, and all interactive systems are built entirely in Rive. The code side was developed with AI assistance to handle the integration and communication with Rive. 🔥 Fire on a Match

I've been experimenting with Rive MCP + Cursor AI.

Still plenty to improve, but each experiment teaches me something new about interactive animation and creative workflows.

While I'm excited by how quickly AI can help turn ideas into prototypes, I also hope creators' rights and contributions continue to be respected as these tools evolve. I still love traditional, handcrafted creative processes, even when they take more time.

To be honest, I've been feeling a little overwhelmed by the pace of recent AI trends. Finding the right balance between new technology and human creativity will be an interesting journey.
