hey, beautiful people! Seeing the recent Rive challenge on Contra got me really curious about the tool.
I’m a sound designer & mixing engineer, and I’ve started a personal project to experiment with an interactive, sound-driven portfolio using Rive. This is my first proper dive into it, but I'm very aware that this kind of interactivity can easily turn into a gimmick, so I’m trying to understand where it actually adds value and where it doesn’t. Would love to hear any thoughts or advice from people with more Rive experience — especially around keeping things playful but still professional. 🙏

I think this is off to a great start!! I love how you're using analog elements from your sound design process but animating them with Rive

Thanks Madi! That was exactly the idea, translating parts of my sound design workflow into something visual and interactive. Still figuring out how far to push it without losing clarity 🙂
