Hot take: when people say āwe can tell you used AI,ā theyāre usually not reacting to the AI.
Theyāre reacting to the lack of creative judgment behind it.
I read a post today that explained this sooo well. It basically called out what designers have always been able to tell when someone was using a tool without understanding the craft behind it. That's not new to AI.
You could tell with bad PowerPoints.
You could tell with overdesigned Canva graphics.
You could tell with random stock-photo branding.
AI just lowered the barrier to execution even more, which means taste and direction matter even more now.
Because the difference was never the tool. It was the eye behind it.

Indeed. You can look at furniture and see that nails and hammer has been used, or not, or you couldn't care less as long as its a good peace of furniture. :)
Most AI projects today focus on speed, automation, or productivity.
I wanted to explore something different: What if AI could help organize emotional overwhelm instead of just optimizing workflows?
So for this design sprint, I built QuietSpace ā an AI-powered emotional organization platform designed to help people untangle stress, burnout, mental overload, and emotional noise through reflective AI.
The idea wasnāt to create another therapy app or productivity dashboard.
I wanted the experience to feel: calm, humane, emotionally intelligent, and genuinely helpful.
The entire interface was built around a BentoGrid system with ambient interactions, soft motion, and emotionally-aware UI patterns. I also pushed Stitch to its limits by experimenting with exported design systems, custom structures, connected flows, and layered interaction logic to shape the final experience.
This project heavily utilized Stitchās newer prototyping and system-based workflow features to rapidly build and refine the experience.
Some of the screens include: ā¢ Thought Dump ā¢ AI Categorization ā¢ Pattern Recognition ā¢ Micro Recovery ā¢ Emotional Dashboard Systems
One thing Iāve been trying to focus on lately is building concepts that donāt just look visually polished, but also solve real human problems or create awareness around experiences people quietly deal with every day.
This project became a blend of: AI Ć emotional UX Ć systems thinking Ć interface storytelling.
This project became an exploration of how AI interfaces can feel emotionally supportive instead of emotionally exhausting.
