A Blender-built turntable you can play in the browser
An interactive 3D hero for a concept hi-fi brand. I modelled a direct-drive turntable in Blender at real dimensions, lit it in a seamless orange studio, and brought the same scene into the browser with three.js.
Scroll moves the camera through three shots: a beauty angle, a view from above, and a close-up at the stylus. Press play and the platter spins up to 33⅓ rpm while the tonearm lifts, swings over and lowers onto the record. You can switch to 45, drag to look round, and stop it again.
The browser lighting comes from the Blender studio itself, and the floor shadow is baked from the same scene, so the live version sits close to the offline render. The whole page weighs 1.9 MB and works on phones.
