Booked by Ironwood — an AI-powered booking and follow-up system for Ironwood Tree Service, a solo tree contractor in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The problem: contractors lose jobs to phone tag. Customers call during work hours, hit voicemail, and book with whoever picks up first. The owner burns hours on the phone and eats no-shows.
What it does: customers book themselves in 60 seconds — pick a service, snap a photo of the tree, grab a time slot, get instant confirmation. On the owner side, Dale's dashboard puts every job on one screen, with automatic SMS confirmations plus 24-hour and 2-hour reminders that cut no-shows. The stats bar proves the ROI: 13 bookings this week, 4 hours of phone tag eliminated.
Why I built it: this is the working demo for a sellable product — the same system I offer local contractors as a $1,250 setup. One build, reusable for every tree service, plumber, and roofer who'd rather be on the job than on the phone.
