I revisited the first case study I published on Contra—not to change the artwork, but to make the reasoning visible.
This commissioned football tarot triptych was built as one visual system across three cards. Roman-inspired architecture framed leadership, struggle and reunion; a civic crown and curule seat recast coronation as responsibility; and a mirror became a temple-like destination through pediment, columns, axis and steps.
The updated study now shows the research, player-specific symbols and two key refinements that restored hierarchy without losing meaning.
