I've made a tutorial on how I turned a basic video into a half-animated world using CapCut AI Effects with the New Age Art filter.
TUTORIAL:
1. Upload your clip into CapCut
2. Fix the base. I always use the auto adjust to clean up lighting and improve quality first.
3. Go to Effects, then AI Effects, and choose the New Age Art effect. Apply it and let it process fully.
4. Overlay your original video and place it on top.
5. Add a mask so you create a rectangle or any shape in the centre with the real footage. The animated version stays in the background.
You end up with this split reality look. Half real, half animated.

The dark neon board with cyan and teal scan lines is such a perfect fit for a snake game. Wiring that board + HUD + food styling into a Lua engine and making it responsive is no small task. That compile time of 11 minutes in the console log cracked me up. Keep going, this is shaping up really well.
