Recreated the progressive blur footer inspired by Apple Maps, focusing on subtle details that make the interface feel more immersive and intuitive. ✨
Built with Expo, this interaction blends the footer naturally into the map while maintaining a clean, polished look as content moves beneath it.
I enjoy recreating interactions like these to better understand the craftsmanship behind great mobile experiences and to explore what's possible with React Native.
This card stack transition combining the SVG of each card to the sticky position is giving my brain really satisfying scratches 😘👌

I've been doing a lot more Framer developments lately where I don't do the design, I think one of the big advantages of having a strong background in design is that I can see the designers vision to translate it into the web obsessing over the details.
I.e. see Figma design screenshot in the comments how each card had the same SVG but in irregular placements, I saw it as an opportunity to perfectly align them on scroll and add a bit of a transparency reveal at the end. It feels way more intentional and ties everything together.

one of the most interesting parts of this project has been figuring out how to turn an abstract concept into something people can actually see and feel.
from the typography to the illustrations and overall visual language, every element is an opportunity to give the brand more personality and make it feel like its own world.
still exploring, but i’m really enjoying where this is going.
