Project Overview: John Pridgen Brand Identity

The objective of this project was to develop a comprehensive visual ecosystem for John Pridgen, a DJ and producer hailing from San Antonio, Texas. Known for his signature sound across Jackin' House, Deep House, and Funky House, the brand needed to reflect both the rhythmic energy of his music and a sophisticated, professional persona.

The Design Process

The project began with a deep dive into Logo Development, exploring early hand-drawn sketches and typographic variations. The goal was to create a mark that felt timeless yet energetic. The final design features a custom, high-detail filigree monogram and wordmark that balances ornate scrollwork with bold, legible letterforms.

Visual Language & Assets

The Primary Mark: A decorative "JP" monogram provided in a flat black-and-white format for maximum versatility.

3D Evolution: The brand was elevated through a Final 3D Version and a sleek "Black-on-Black" treatment, adding depth and a premium feel to digital assets.

Illustrated Portraits: To add a personal touch to promotional materials, I created custom illustrated portraits used for promotional artwork and social media.

Motion & Light: The identity expands into motion with an animated logo and a specialized neon tubing concept designed for studio installations and live event backdrops. Brand Applications
