Project Overview
The Supervised Industrial Training (SIT) Management System is a comprehensive web-based platform developed to digitize and streamline the industrial training and student placement process within an academic institution. The system connects students, universities, and companies through a centralized platform, making internship applications, student allocation, placement management, supervision, and evaluation more efficient and transparent.

1. Student Management
Student registration and profile management.
Upload and manage CVs.
Apply to a maximum of two companies with priority selection.
Track application and placement status.
2. Automated Student Placement
Rank applicants according to CGPA.
Automatically allocate available company seats.
Manage waiting lists and exhausted applications.
Support student replacement when initial placement options are exhausted.
3. Company Management
Company profile and seat management.
Review student applications.
View shortlisted students.
Manage acceptance letters and placement decisions.

Calculate weighted marks and final grades.

7. Real-Time Communication
Private messaging between system users.
Real-time message delivery using Socket.IO.
Centralized communication across different user roles.

Manage registered users and system roles.
Maintain company and student records.
Monitor placements and evaluation activities.
Export selected user data for administrative reporting.
Project Objective
The primary objective is to replace manual placement procedures and disconnected communication methods with a centralized, reliable, and efficient digital solution. The system improves transparency, reduces administrative workload, and provides better coordination between universities, students, and industrial organizations.
My Contribution
Designed and developed the full-stack application using the MERN stack, implementing responsive user interfaces, backend APIs, MongoDB database integration, role-based access control, automated placement workflows, and internship evaluation modules.

8x's homepage today is a list of links. Their best ideas (the manifesto, how the company works, how hiring works) are scattered across three different sites. So I rebuilt it as one story, aimed at the people they want to hire:

→ "How 8x works" is shown as a loop, because every new vertical builds on the last one.
→ Real lines from their job ads, instead of culture-deck adjectives.
→ A fit self-check that can honestly tell you "this probably isn't for you."

Asking one sharp question at a time instead of a 20-question form is the right call. Curious how it decides an answer is good enough to move on, since that's where most validation agents stall or rubber-stamp.
Resolve: an AI support agent that answers from a company’s own policies, looks up orders, and escalates weak matches to a human instead of guessing. A human approves replies before they go out.

For the human approval step, I'd show the exact policy passage and its effective date beside the draft. Does Resolve flag a reply for re-review if the policy changes while it waits for approval?
