I think the battle was between top contenders, Weavy and Krea, not Flora.
But the battle was won when Figma bought Weavy. Once Figma integrates it into their workflow is game over.
I was playing krea really early but haven't been back since things switched up. I might have to take a look.
Do you think its a better use of time to invest in learning something like weavy since figma will integrate it in eventually?
You know, I don't really have an answer to that, but I just feel like having the team behind Figma, a platform I already use and love, has potential to make Figma the winning choice.

The new one reads way more confident, "put your numbers on the wall" as a headline just sells the product better than the illustration-heavy version did. What was driving the rebrand, was it more about conversion on the landing page or repositioning the product overall?

Should the image be centered or on the right?

I’d choose the image-right version. It gives the headline a clearer reading path and leaves more room for a strong CTA without making the hero feel crowded.
