SEO is no longer only about ranking #1 on Google.

With AI-powered search becoming a bigger part of how people discover information, businesses need to think beyond traditional keyword rankings.

Here are a few areas I’m focusing on when building modern SEO strategies:

🔹 Traditional SEO Technical SEO, keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, content strategy and authority building.

🔹 AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) Creating content that directly answers the questions users are asking and making information easy for search engines and answer engines to understand.

🔹 GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) Optimizing content, entities, structure and brand information so businesses have a better chance of being understood and referenced across AI-powered search experiences.

🔹 Entity & topical relevance It's no longer enough to repeat a keyword. Search engines need to understand what a business does, who it serves, what it offers and how different topics are connected.

🔹 Helpful, structured content Clear answers, FAQs, supporting evidence, strong information architecture and structured data can make content easier for both users and search systems to interpret.

The biggest SEO shift I'm seeing is this:

👉 Don't just optimize a page to rank.

👉 Optimize the entire website so search engines and AI systems can understand the business.

That's the approach I use when combining Technical SEO, Content Strategy, Local SEO and AEO/GEO.

Yeah, this was a cold run in PSI. The DB cleanup was actually huge for TTFB—dropped uncached server response under 200ms, mostly by clearing bloated wp_options and fixing custom loops. Caching handles repeat hits, but the backend fix was the main win.

More pages ≠ better SEO.

A common mistake is creating dozens of pages just to target more keywords.

But if those pages have: – Thin content – Similar intent – Little unique value – No clear purpose

They can make your site harder to manage and harder for search engines to understand.

Before creating a new page, ask:

“Does this deserve its own page?”

Create pages for users first. Optimize them for search second.

Useful pages > more pages.
