For this full-wrap cover design of The Jewel EP 2: The Snow Kingdom by John Weisert, my goal was to create an epic and inviting high fantasy atmosphere. I used detailed visual compositing to blend a sweeping, snow-covered mountain landscape with a warm, glowing sunrise. To anchor the scene, I placed an ornate, glowing wooden staff holding the titular jewel in the foreground. For the typography, I selected an elegant serif font in a rich gold to complement the magical artifact, ensuring the back cover text remains legible across the scenic winter wrap.

If people can't describe what you do in 6 words,
they'll never refer you.
They like you. They just can't repeat you.
That's a positioning problem, not a talent problem.
Here's why the number matters:
Referrals happen inside a 10-second gap in someone else's
conversation.
"Do you know anyone who...?"
Whoever comes to mind in that gap gets the work.
Usually that's the person with the simplest sentence
attached to their name.
Not the best portfolio in the city.
So try it right now.
Say what you do out loud. Count the words.
If you needed 20, cut with these 3 rules:
1. Name the person, not the industry
"I work with brands" becomes "I write for
dental clinics"
2. Name the outcome they'd brag about
Skip your process. Keep the result they'd repeat to a
friend.
3. Delete every word that could describe 400 other people
Strategic. Data-driven. Storytelling. Solutions. Nobody
passes those along.
The template:
I help [who] [get specific outcome].
Six words. Boring on purpose.
"I help dentists fill empty Tuesdays."
"I write SEO pages that rank."
(Six words is brutal. That's the point.)
If you can't compress it, nobody else can either.
Impressive sentences get compliments. Repeatable ones get
referrals.

Overview
Designed two visual directions for a Fiverr thumbnail, exploring different approaches to composition, typography, imagery, and visual hierarchy.
Direction 01: Centered Impact: A bold, center-focused layout that places the main message at the visual focal point for immediate readability and impact.
Direction 02: Dynamic Balance: A more dynamic composition using side-positioned typography with supporting imagery to create visual movement and stronger balance.
Both variations were created from the same core concept to explore how different layouts can influence attention, readability, and overall engagement.

Logo Suite designed for Annie Bakery — a local bread bakery.

The suite holds together because the script wordmark, the AB monogram, and the round badge all carry the same wheat detail, so it reads as Annie Bakery whether on a storefront or shrunk onto a cap. The dark green with mustard is also a warm artisan pairing that dodges the usual beige bakery cliche.
