A genuine question to everyone who’s actually made money on Contra…
How do you really get started?
How do you land that first client when you’ve made $0 on the platform and don’t even have the budget for Contra Pro yet?
I’m new here. No earnings. No testimonials from Contra clients yet.
But one thing I can confidently say is this: I get the work done, and I get it done well.
I’m good at turning ideas into real products. UI/UX, vibe coding full platforms, branding, graphics, Framer, and a bunch of other creative work.
What I’m trying to understand is: What actually worked for you in the beginning?
Cold outreach? Posting consistently? Applying nonstop? Networking? Optimizing your profile? Something else entirely?
I’m open to any advice, tips, mistakes to avoid, or things you wish you knew earlier.
