When I found ZZ Mobile Detailing, I saw a business with an outstanding reputation—4.9⭐ with hundreds of happy customers—but like many small businesses, much of the customer journey still depended on calls, texts, and manual scheduling.

I wanted to build something that would actually help them save time and create a better experience for their customers.

So I built a complete mobile-first business platform in Base44.

Customers contacted the business through calls or messages.

Scheduling and lead management were handled manually.

No centralized customer portal.

No automated follow-ups or review requests.

No AI to answer common questions after hours.

After

The new platform includes:

✅ AI Detail Advisor that recommends the right detailing package

✅ Online booking with vehicle profiles

✅ Customer portal with appointment history

✅ Owner dashboard for managing leads, customers, and bookings

✅ Automated booking confirmations

✅ Automated Google review requests

✅ Rebooking reminders to encourage repeat business

Instead of simply building a website, the goal was to create a tool that helps the business operate more efficiently while delivering a better customer experience.

One of my favorite features is the AI Detail Advisor, which guides customers to the right package based on their vehicle, goals, and detailing needs before they even book.

Building this project reinforced something I love about AI-powered development: when combined with thoughtful product design, you can create software that genuinely helps local businesses grow.

My favorite restaurant in Israel is on Allenby Street in Tel Aviv. It's a small crowded room with a charcoal grill, and a line that doesn't end until 2-3 AM.

It's called Jasmino, and I hope everyone is lucky enough to try this place once in their life. Their online presence is a just a Facebook page — no website, no menu, no way to skip the one real downside of the place: the wait.

So for the Base44 #GiveItAGlow challenge, I gave Jasmino a real home:

✅ Full mobile-first website built around the actual story of the place — the blue tent, the late nights, the ritual of eating on the synagogue steps across the street ✅ Live menu with real-time sold-out status per item ✅ Order-ahead flow — build your pita, pick a pickup window ✅ Live Stripe checkout, ₪5 fee for a guaranteed pickup slot ✅ Automated kitchen alert the moment a paid order comes in ✅ Automated WhatsApp "order's ready" ping so customers walk straight to the front instead of standing in line ✅ Slot limits so online orders never overwhelm the walk-up line but help manage it

✅ English/Hebrew compatibility

The best pita in Tel Aviv deserved a better front door. Now it has one.
