I set a goal to get back to life, to the industry, so I'll write down everything I notice that raises questions here.
I'm doing this as a personal challenge to get back the urge to write on social media and ask for support โค๏ธ + ๐
Today I was browsing a job board and noticed something I keep running into when looking for projects: "๐๐ต๐ข๐ณ๐ต ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ด๐ข๐ญ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ '๐ฆ๐น๐ข๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฅ' ๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ช๐ต ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ช๐จ๐ฏ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฅ! ๐๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ช๐ท๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ."
And I keep wondering: does a written phrase really show a designer's motivation to potential clients?
If anything, it demotivates me to respond to a listing like that. I get filled with this strange, uneasy feeling.
Is this a filter for attentiveness, or just a game of obedience? Curious what you think.

I think it's mainly to test attentiveness. A lot of people use templates or apply without really reading the details, so this helps identify the people who actually took the time to read the post carefully.
Saw those too, I asked one of them, and they told, they get bunch of unrelated, template like proposals, so that's why they just has to put it, so they can be sure at least freelancer read full description. It is sad, but they don't have other choice either๐
That obedience filter framing really lands, it tests compliance more than actual motivation. I've seen those instructions used just to cut down volume, but it still feels a little degrading from the applicant side. Do you skip listings with tricks like that now, or still make your case anyway?
I also experience discomfort with these types of job postings. I think itโs more about obedience. They are not hiring for your professional perspective, but for your ability to follow rules

One of the things I enjoy most about web development is that no two projects are exactly the same.
Each business has unique goals.
Different audiences.
Different challenges.
That's what makes every project interesting.
The process always begins with understanding the business before writing a single line of code or designing a single page.
When strategy comes first, technology becomes a tool, not the solution itself.
