This email was designed to improve conversions for a creator membership community by addressing a common false belief: needing more content instead of better execution.
The main problem was audience overwhelm—too much saved information and not enough implementation.
The strategy was to reposition the offer away from “more information” and toward accountability, feedback, and momentum. This helps the audience feel understood while making the membership feel like the practical solution.
The goal was to improve conversions by increasing clarity, emotional resonance, and offer positioning.

I have got, plenty of times.
Below I'm breaking down the two C's as marketing tactics that play big role in achieving an efficient distribution that the creatives are sleeping on.
1. Curiosity
Based on psychological studies, people do not tend to leave things unread or unfinished, thus have a much higher urge to pay close attention to something they might be afraid to miss out on.
Here's a real example of curiosity hook as a marketing tactic that helped me distribute my work efficiently and ended up blowing up. I used the same principle for this visual below too.
2. Controversy
Embrace Controversy to cut through online noise.
In an era where large percent of content is regurgitated or AI-generated without curation, creators must "pick a fight" by sharing bold, unique perspectives on ideas or philosophies. If you do what everyone else is doing, you're going to get what everyone else is getting, positioning controversy as essential for visibility and authenticity.
I also used this tactic in the visual below, featuring slightly foul language.

So creativity design
Good design doesn’t ignore ideas – it helps you see the difference.
At the start of this Kajabi project, the client asked to use their Facebook banner as the website hero.
The reason was simple: they wanted everything to feel consistent with their social media.
And we totally respect that.
Even though we knew this approach usually doesn’t work well for a hero section, we always make sure our clients can see their idea in action.
So instead of pushing back – we did both:
👉 their version (social banner as hero)
👉 our version (optimized hero section)
What’s the difference?
The banner version keeps the visual style… but it doesn’t function as a real entry point to the page:
🧩no clear headline
🧩no defined offer
🧩no call-to-action
🧩no immediate clarity
Our version focused on one thing – clarity.
What we changed:
✔️ A confident, clear headline
✔️ A simple and understandable offer
✔️ A strong CTA
✔️ A modern, clean photo of the artist (easy to recognize)
We also:
- kept the original background to maintain brand consistency
- removed the extra logo (since it’s already in the header)
Result:
The client didn’t lose their visual identity, but gained something much more important:
👉 clarity
👉 structure
👉 direction
And in the end, they chose our version

Last month we hosted a session with Contra's CEO Ben Huffman and Stripo's CEO Dmytro Kudrenko on how freelancers can earn more with email marketing. If you haven't had a chance to watch it yet, here are the main takeaways.
1. The opportunity is real. Email returns $36-$42 for every $1 spent. Over 70% of businesses need outside help to execute their email marketing. And on Contra, email marketing projects average $2,000+ per engagement.
2. One project can become a retainer. The path: one-off design from a brief, then original creative, then A/B variants, then a full email design system (modules, brand kit, reusable templates). Once you build the system, maintaining it is the retainer.
3. Stop selling emails. Sell systems. When a client's brand kit, module library, and templates are all built by you, switching means rebuilding from scratch. That's not lock-in. That's value.
4. Speed is capacity. Faster production means more clients, more campaigns, same hours. holito went from slow, generic email production to 10x faster with a reusable design system built in Stripo.
5. Interactive content is a differentiator. Quizzes, scratch cards, polls inside emails. When a client's subscribers start expecting that from every campaign, and only you can deliver it, you stop being a vendor and become infrastructure.

He builds reusable module libraries that carry across client projects, connects each client's ESP directly to his Stripo account, and tests everything independently before handoff.
