Excited to share Sandbox, my submission for the #FlowstepChallenge 🚀
Sandbox is a mobile platform where startups and students can build in public, showcase real projects, discover opportunities, and form meaningful professional connections.
For this submission, I focused on the startup experience and designed an interactive prototype in @flowstep_ai, covering onboarding, authentication, the home feed, Explore, startup dashboard, project and applicant management, leaderboards, profiles, search, and notifications.
Instead of traditional social-media engagement, Sandbox introduces more meaningful interactions:
Posts build visibility.
Projects build credibility.
Upraises build reputation.
Most social platforms reward attention. Sandbox rewards ambition.
Built and refined directly inside Flowstep, with a focus on consistent components, connected navigation, reusable UI patterns, and a professional mobile experience.

For the Flowstep challenge, I built the product I keep wishing existed: a tiny decision engine for the moments when you have free time, but no idea what to do with it.
BORED. starts with a quick context check based on your available time, energy and company. Then it gives you one curated recommendation across four categories:
🎬 Watch a documentary
🎶 Listen to a playlist
🏡 Do something inside
🌲 Go outside
No endless feed. No decision fatigue. Just one good option, with the ability to retry when it doesn’t feel right.
The process became a real journey. I explored the initial direction with Figma Make, developed and iterated on the experience using Flowstep and Codex through MCP, then refined the visual system and complete interaction flow manually in Figma.
During the final sync, I ran into a persistent Figma API rate limit. Instead of letting that stop the project, I adapted the workflow and shipped the final clickable experience through Vercel.
It was messy, experimental and occasionally frustrating, but that is exactly what building something real looks like. What a journey. ✨

I also created a complete video walkthrough of the process. Since English is not my first language, I used an AI-assisted voiceover based on my own script so the story, decisions and challenges would be communicated clearly. The concept, design process, direction and final narrative are entirely mine.

"Leave It Here" is a digital ritual for thoughts that keep looping in your mind.
I created this concept from a personal experience: when a conversation or situation hurts or unsettles me, I often replay it again and again (sometimes I can't even sleep), thinking about what happened or what I should have said or done differently.
🔮 How I used Flowstep
While working in Flowstep, I created a set of design guidelines and continuously refined them to keep the experience consistent across typography, color, spacing, tone, and interaction. I used prompting for larger changes and refined the smaller details manually, including images, texts, and button colors.
🚀 What I liked the most
I especially liked the automatic screen connections, clickable prototyping, and additional interaction states generated by Flowstep.

P.S. The prototype currently opens on the second screen instead of the intended first screen. The first screen was created later in the workflow, and I could not find a way to redefine the starting point. Flowstep team, I would really appreciate your advice on this.

Concepts built around a real feeling instead of a business use case usually turn out more polished. every design decision has something real to check against instead of just a guess
For years I've done the same pointless thing: I pause a film because someone's wearing the exact coat I've been looking for, then I screenshot it, reverse-search it, scroll past forty results that aren't it, and give up.
The thing I wanted was right there in the frame. It just wasn't connected to anything.
So I built it.
Vantara is a streaming service where you pause any moment and it tells you what's in the shot and where to buy it: the exact piece, or its closest match. Because you're never going to find the real 1912 opera coat from the costume department, and you don't want to pay for it either. You want the look, at a price that makes sense.
It's 11 screens across desktop and mobile, including the player, the pause-to-shop panel, item pages with real prices and delivery, a Vault that watches prices and tells you when something drops, and a search that runs backwards. Describe a look, and it finds you the scene it lives in.
I built every screen in Flowstep, driven through the Flowstep MCP server with Claude, on one design system applied across the whole thing.
