Altesa ā Luxury Hotel Booking Website UI/UX Design
Project Description / Case Study:
Overview
Altesa is a premium, modern hotel booking and travel platform designed to make the vacation-planning experience seamless, intuitive, and visually captivating. The goal of this project was to design a landing page that balances luxury aesthetics with high-conversion layouts, helping users find and book their ideal accommodation effortlessly.
The Challenge
Most hospitality and booking websites feel cluttered with too many filters, aggressive pop-ups, and distracting elements. The challenge was to create a clean, minimalist, and trustworthy interface for Altesa that guides the user from exploration to final room booking without cognitive overload.
The Solution & Design Approach
Immersive Hero Section: Designed a bold, high-quality hero section with clear typography that immediately evokes a luxury feel.
Intuitive Search UX: Placed a clean, high-contrast booking widget (Location, Person, Check-in/Check-out) right at the top for instant user action.
Structured Room Showcases: Built a clean card layout for the room listings, using precise typography, visual badges (pricing, ratings), and a clear "Book Now" CTA for each package.
Trust & Social Proof: Integrated strategic layout blocks for customer testimonials ("See How We Make All Clients Satisfied") and value propositions to maximize conversion and user trust.
Spatial & Color Harmony: Used a warm, luxury-focused color scheme with sophisticated spacing and clean layouts to ensure readability and flawless navigation.

SPOT THE BOT, a gallery game about telling human creativity from a machine's
The problem. AI can now create almost anything, and for designers that's not abstract. The fear is that taste, judgment, the human "tell" in a piece of work no longer counts for anything. So instead of arguing about it, we made a game out of it.
The idea. Everyone gets the same prompt ("give beige a personality," "what keeps you up at 3am"), the same fixed kit of pieces, and 30 seconds. So does an AI. Every tile lands on a gallery wall, and players vote: which one is the bot? Then comes the reveal: who fooled you, and who you fooled. The constraint is the whole point. When everyone has identical pieces, the only thing separating the tiles is taste, wit, and choice, the human stuff. Right now the bot fools 72% of players, and every round feeds that number: a live, accumulating measure of where human judgment still holds the line.
The build & workflow. Designed and built end to end in the Figma ecosystem: the editor, the real-time multiplayer rounds (MAKE, VOTE, REVEAL), and the MUSEUM of every player-made tile. The asset kits (risograph, torn paper, duct tape, liquid metal, and more) were generated with Weavy.ai.
It's recursive by design: a game about spotting machine-made art, built with the machine's own creative tools. The medium is the argument.
