Xochitl Studios is my own boutique creative agency and building its brand was work I gave the same rigor I bring to every client.
Starting from scratch, I developed a full visual identity including a custom logo mark and color system, and defined a brand voice rooted in cultural depth, creative confidence, and intentionality.
The name Xochitl comes from Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs, and was chosen as a direct ode to my Mexican heritage. The color palette draws from the richness of the Mexican diaspora and my African roots, weaving both identities into a visual language that feels intentional, layered, and personal.
Every decision was grounded in a clear positioning: a culture-rooted creative studio for brands that want to mean something.

It's been a minute — life got busy, but I'm back and genuinely excited to start sharing again.
First up: the Framer build I did for Contra Labs. Custom pre-loaders on every page that blend into the HERO, scroll-based animations throughout (is it really a framer site from me without them?), and a lot of custom code. The digital renaissance theme was the brief and it was such a fun creative challenge to bring to life.
Really grateful to the Contra team for the trust on this one and always a blast to collaborate closely with @Erin Horner.

A brand identity system for one of the most progressive AI platforms.
Most brand designers start with visuals. I start with strategy.
Here's the actual workflow I use to build brand identities from positioning to final system, using three AI tools and Figma.
Claude helps me with thinking. Positioning, messaging frameworks, competitive analysis. The brand direction is locked before I open a design file.
Midjourney helps with exploration and for testing 20 visual directions in the time it takes to sketch one.
Figma is where it all comes together. Every decision traces back to the strategy. Nothing decorative, everything intentional.
The tools changed but the principle didn't.
