Mixtape for You — send someone a cassette you actually made

🎵Mixtape for You is a web app for making someone a cassette mixtape and sending it as a link. Not a playlist — an object.🎵

You pick a shell color and a label pattern, drag stickers onto the hexagonal label, choose a case tint and engrave the spine, split your YouTube tracks across Side A and Side B, and write a note in your own handwriting. The tracklist gets andwritten onto the J-card lines, exactly like a real cassette insert.

The person who receives it doesn't land on a player. They land on a closed plastic case with a tape sitting inside it and a Play button. Press play, and the cassette slides out of the case with a soft bounce, the note is lying right there next to it, and only then does the music start. Hit pause and the tape goes back into its case.
