Assist Home Repairs - Home Services, Without the Hassle
A home services booking platform designed around one simple idea: getting a repair done shouldn't require endless phone calls, missed appointments, or uncertainty about pricing.
Assist Home Repairs connects homeowners with trusted professionals for plumbing, electrical, and carpentry services through a straightforward online booking experience. From selecting a service and describing the issue to choosing a convenient time slot and receiving booking confirmation, the entire process happens in a few simple steps.
Behind the customer-facing experience is an administrative dashboard for managing bookings, service requests, and daily operations.
Highlights
Frictionless booking experience: Homeowners can select a service, describe their repair needs, choose an available time slot, and submit their details without phone tag.
Clear service pricing: Transparent pricing presented upfront, helping customers understand their options before booking.
Guided request flow: A structured, step-by-step process that makes submitting a repair request simple and intuitive.
Booking confirmation: A clear confirmation experience that gives customers confidence their request has been received.
Administrative dashboard: A centralized interface for managing incoming requests, scheduled jobs, and service operations.
Modern, conversion-focused design: Clean typography, navy and orange accents, and purposeful layouts that keep the experience focused on getting the job done.
Built end-to-end with Lovable.
The goal: Make booking a home repair feel as effortless as ordering anything else online.

A few weeks ago my girlfriend’s phone died without warning, and everything she needed was on it. Finding a repair shop took hours. Half the websites barely worked, the rest wanted a form and a callback, and nobody could tell us the price or whether they had time. Booking took almost another hour of calls and messages.
The repair itself took 30 minutes. The repair wasn’t the problem; everything around it was. The shop owner was stuck too, answering the same questions instead of fixing devices.
So for the #Base44Challenge I built Reborn: a repair booking platform for customers, with an operations dashboard for the shop.
🔗 Live site: https://reborn-repairs.base44.app/
🔐 Shop admin: https://reborn-repairs.base44.app/login
For customers:
Pick your city and device. If you don’t know the exact model, that’s fine.
Diagnose on an interactive 3D model. Instead of filling in a form, you spin the phone or laptop, tap the part that’s broken, or pick from common problems.
Describe the issue your way. Type what happened, record a voice note, or add photos.
Get an instant quote. A preliminary quote updates as you choose, using the workshop’s own rate card. Nobody has to call you back.
Book a real slot. Choose a workshop visit or doorstep pickup, and pick from time slots that are actually available.
Track the repair. You get a booking reference to follow every stage.
For the shop (Workshop OS):
One dashboard for every booking, filterable by city, status and technician.
Assign a technician. Only technicians in that city show up.
Quote approval. The shop sends a quote, and the customer approves it before any work begins.
Notes. Internal notes, or notes the customer can see.
Settings in one place. Pricing, opening hours, slot capacity, cities, delivery fees and legal pages are all managed here, so customers always see quotes and slots that match how the shop really runs.
Automation:
Every status change emails the customer automatically: device received, technician assigned, ready for return, and so on.
An email history log shows each message as sent, failed or skipped.
Updates that used to mean phone calls now happen on their own, and the shop gets back to fixing things.
How I built it:
I built all of this with Base44. I described what I needed in plain language, and it helped me create the database, the booking flow, the email automation and the dashboard. That let me spend my time on the experience, not the plumbing.
Why it matters:
With component prices climbing, repairing what you already own matters more than ever. It’s better for your wallet and better for the planet.
Your tech. Back in motion.

Brilliant in every way.
Some damage you can repair. Some, you can only make worse.
A cracked ceiling rose in a house that’s stood for a hundred years. A section of crown molding lost to a leak. A wall of ornamental plaster nobody has the skill to match.
The homeowner’s real fear isn’t the cost. It’s the wrong person turning up with the wrong material and a quick fix. Because you can’t undo that. You can’t reprint the character of an old building.
Atelier Surface is built for exactly that moment. Careful repair. Faithful reproduction. Ornamental plasterwork restored by people who read a profile’s lines and shadows before they touch it.
So the website had to answer the nervous question before it was asked.
We opened with the craft itself: “Some surfaces are finished. Others are crafted.” We gave restoration its own place alongside Venetian plaster, limewash and gold leaf, so it never reads as an afterthought. We showed the process in plain stages, from consultation to preparation to hand-applied layers to handover, ending on the one line this trade lives by: “Craft cannot be rushed.” And we wrote the FAQs the way a worried owner actually thinks. Can decorative finishes suit an older building? Can existing ornamental plasterwork be saved?
Then a quiet way in: tell us about your project.
The benefit is simple. A visitor who arrives anxious leaves reassured. They’ve seen the care, the order and the patience before anyone has asked for a deposit.
For architects and interior designers, it means a studio they can trust with a heritage brief. For homeowners, it means the house they love stays itself.
That’s what a good craft site does. It makes you feel your building is safe in their hands.
If your clients are afraid of getting it wrong, don’t sell them speed. Show them care.

Why Professional Garage Door Repairs Matter
Although some basic troubleshooting tasks can be completed at home, mechanical repairs often require specialized knowledge and equipment. Garage door springs and cables operate under substantial tension, making them dangerous to handle without appropriate training.
Professional technicians can inspect the entire system, identify the source of the problem, and recommend a suitable solution. They can also examine the door's balance, inspect worn hardware, and test safety sensors to help ensure reliable operation.
