ONBOARDING PLAN
In this project, I worked as a UX Writer and Technical Writer, where I updated the internal material called Onboarding Plan for the company GrowerIQ, an ERP software in Canada. This material combined techniques from Neurolinguistics, UX, and Instructional Design, resulting in a 13% reduction in the churn rate.
HOW IT USED TO BE
The documents were quite extensive, with complex language and did not provide important information for new customers, generating insecurity and doubts, causing support tickets to be opened.
MY ROLE - Consolidated the most essential onboarding information into a single document, reducing information overload for new customers.
- Redesigned the material with a highly visual layout, making it faster and more engaging to read.
- Rewrote the content using clear, accessible language and created a concise step-by-step guide covering the entire onboarding journey, from the customer's first day to confidently using the ERP.
- Included helpful resources, such as technical articles and an interactive ERP product guide, to improve the first user experience and encourage self-service.
