Three things I'm trying to figure out:

1.) How long did it take you to reach steady income (around $2,000–$3,000/month), and what got you there fastest?

2.) What was your best channel for finding clients — and what actually worked to win them over?

3.) If you started over today, what mistakes would you avoid?

Any advice from your own experience would help me see this clearly and stay grounded in reality, instead of chasing a picture that isn't true.
