A beautiful AI video can get thousands of views. And still sell absolutely nothing.
I love making cinematic AI videos. Perfect lighting, smooth camera movements, realistic characters. I can spend hours getting those details right.
But looking good doesn't mean it works.
Before I build an AI ad, I figure out three things: Who are we trying to reach? What will actually make them stop scrolling? What do they need to remember?
Only then do I worry about visuals and camera angles.
Because the goal isn't to make someone think, "Wow, that's AI." It's to make them want the product.
AI gives us amazing possibilities. But knowing what to build matters way more than knowing how to generate it.
A pretty video gets views. A smart ad gets results.

Disclosing is the safer bet. Buyers forgive AI when it is used to make a good idea cheaper to test, and they punish it when it is hidden and looks off. The real question is whether the demo shows the product honestly.
Human-made work will always have the edge over AI slop. AI is useful for a few clips, but a full video built with it comes across as unprofessional and is not a smart use of your budget or resources.
