Every book deserves to make it to the hands of its readers, and sometimes that means taking care of the technical details behind the scenes.

I recently helped an author resize and adjust the bleed for a children's book illustration so it would meet Amazon KDP's print requirements. It's one of those parts of the publishing process readers never see, but getting it right makes all the difference.

I enjoy working on projects like this because it's not just about preparing files; it's about making sure an author's vision is ready for print without unexpected setbacks.

It's always rewarding knowing a book is one step closer to being published.

Started Ovum with painted specimen-egg illustrations and a wax-seal logo. Killed almost all of it.

Kept one hand-drawn wordmark and five colors, rebuilt the whole campaign in 35mm film — honey oil mid-pour, skin, candlelight. Same brand, completely different eyes.

I think AI changes HOW we create, but not WHY we create. The tools are evolving incredibly fast, but taste, creative direction and storytelling still come from people. That’s what makes the difference for me.

I work with AI visual storytelling, and I’ve realized that the prompt is only a small part of the process. The real work is building a concept, defining the mood, selecting the strongest visuals and shaping a coherent story. AI speeds up execution, but creative vision is still human.
