This workflow is an AI-powered chat automation system built with n8n. It captures incoming messages, processes them through an AI agent powered by OpenAI, and enhances responses using a vector database (Qdrant) for contextual retrieval. The system can store and access embeddings to deliver more accurate, context-aware replies. It also integrates with external tools like Slack for real-time communication, making it suitable for automated support, lead qualification, and internal knowledge systems.

I developed a fully automated Customer Support Chatbot using n8n and Google Gemini. This AI agent is designed to handle user inquiries by retrieving data directly from Google Sheets and logging new information in real-time.

Key features include conversation memory for context-aware responses and seamless integration with spreadsheets for data management. This project demonstrates my ability to build functional AI workflows that reduce manual support tasks and improve operational efficiency.

A few months ago, we kept hearing the same thing everywhere: “AI can already write code and speed up development.”

To be honest, we didn’t fully buy it. But we also didn’t want to ignore it.

So instead of debating, we decided to test it ourselves.

We chose the safest place to experiment — our own internal finance & accounting system.

No client risk. Full freedom to try, fail, and learn.

A few weeks later, we ended up with:

• a refreshed accounting dashboard • clearer visibility into costs, adjustments, and subscriptions • better tracking across financial flows

All built with AI as part of the process.

AI generated the initial code.

The team handled validation and improvements, then made sure everything worked reliably in a real setup.

Did AI replace developers?? No.

Did it help us move faster and rethink how we build? 100%.

Of course, this approach isn’t universal.

It doesn’t fit every case, especially complex or critical systems.

And like any tool, it needs to be applied carefully, depending on the context.

We’ve actually already tried AI-assisted development on real client projects.

When speed really mattered, it allowed us to move much faster while keeping the quality bar where it should be.

So whenever timelines get tight — we already have a way to deal with it 🙂
