ClientShield – Freelance Client Risk Analyzer

Freelancing gives people the freedom to work with clients from anywhere, but it also comes with a common problem: it's often difficult to know whether a client is trustworthy before starting a project.

ClientShield is a concept designed to help freelancers evaluate potential clients before committing their time and effort. The idea came from common freelancer experiences such as payment issues, ghosting, fake urgency, unclear project requirements, and clients who disappear after receiving work.

The platform analyzes different trust signals and presents them through a simple dashboard that includes risk scores, client insights, warning indicators, and recommendations. The goal is to make it easier for freelancers to identify potential risks and make more informed decisions before accepting a project.

The project started with an initial concept and interface created in Figma Design. That design served as the foundation and reference for further development inside Figma Make, where the experience was iterated, refined, and expanded into a more interactive product concept. This workflow helped explore how traditional design and AI-assisted creation can work together during product development.

The final concept includes a dashboard view along with low-risk and high-risk client scenarios to demonstrate how different client situations can be assessed. Through this project, I explored how Figma Make can accelerate prototyping while still building on a structured design foundation.

ClientShield was created as an exploration of how design and AI-assisted workflows can be used to solve a real problem faced by freelancers every day.
