Built something that isn’t client work for a change. Flowkidz. Short games that teach kids design, websites, AI, code and internet safety.

That's great idea Toqir the interactive learning is best way to learn ❤️❤️
Toqir's avatar
Appreciate it Mostafa. Kids pick things up way faster by doing than reading.

Absolutely practical learning practices is the best ❤️

this is so cool man! love the sticky notes idea, really playful for kids. Flowkidz gonna be big
Toqir's avatar
Thanks Naim! The sticky notes were the bit I enjoyed building most.

Love this concept! 👏 Teaching kids about design, AI, and internet safety through interactive games is a great way to make learning fun and engaging. 🚀
Toqir's avatar
Thanks Shohel. Internet safety especially, it’s hard to make that stick any other way.

teaching kids internet safety through short games is such a good idea. which one do they play the most?
Toqir's avatar
Thanks! Too early to say properly, only just launched. Curious myself which one sticks. Spot the Fake is the one I’d guess, kids seem to enjoy catching things out.

Love that you built this for yourself. Teaching kids internet safety through short games is such a useful idea, and it looks really fun too.
Toqir's avatar
Thank you! Yeah that was the whole idea, make it feel like a game not a lesson
Akbar's avatar
Cool! The assets are very unique. Did you create them using AI or 3D software?
Toqir's avatar
Mix of both actually

Fun idea, nicely designed

Thank you

"What do you want to make today?" with sticky notes and a game controller on the desk is a great hook for kids, it feels like play, not school. Love that a personal project got the same GSAP polish as client work. Are you planning a parent dashboard to track what they learned?
Toqir's avatar
Haha glad that hook landed, that was very intentional! No parent dashboard yet but that is actually a great idea for a future version. For now keeping it simple and focused on the kids

spot the fake being the one that sticks makes sense, catching grown-ups out is the best game there is. one build question. do kids need an account, or does progress live on the device? no-login is usually the hardest part of a kids product and the part parents actually check.
Toqir's avatar
No account needed at all! Progress lives on the device via local storage. No login, no signup, no data collected. Parents can just hand it over and let kids play. That was the whole point of keeping it frictionless
Ali's avatar
local storage and no login is the right trade for kids. parents trust what they can hand over in five seconds.

Teaching design through short games is a lovely idea. How did you approach onboarding so kids can start playing without much instruction?
Toqir's avatar
The goal was to keep it self-explanatory from the start. Each game has a one line brief right before it starts so kids know what to do without reading a manual. No accounts, no setup, just click and play. The design does the teaching
