Midnight Thunder Tattoo
Brand Identity - Visual System - Web design
Midnight Thunder Tattoo is a conceptual rebrand for a group of five tattoo studios, built around a bold, rebellious visual direction inspired by the energy of 90s MTV, Miami nightlife, and tattoo culture.
The Challenge:
The goal was to create an identity that felt distinctive and contemporary without falling into the usual tattoo-brand clichés.
The system also needed to work across five different studios while remaining recognizable as one brand.
The identity was designed to feel confident, loud, slightly nostalgic, and unapologetically tattoo culture.
Visual Identity:
The logo acts as the foundation, while the typography (Syne), photography, color, composition, and graphic elements create the recognizable Midnight Thunder world.
This allowed the brand to stay consistent across different applications while giving each studio room to express its own personality.
Applications:
I explored the identity across social media, posters, signage, apparel, promotional materials, and digital communications.
Outcome:
Midnight Thunder became a complete visual identity rather than simply a logo — giving the five studios a distinctive, cohesive brand presence with a strong personality and clear visual direction.
