Another day, another build ⚡️
For the Anything challenge, we built : SkyLens — a camera-first AR app that lets you point at the sky and understand what’s flying above you.

✈️ What it does: • Open camera → point at the sky • Get guided to nearby aircraft • Tap to identify → see the most likely flight • AR overlay + real-time data (altitude, speed, route)
The challenge wasn’t the UI — it was designing for: • Uncertainty (it’s a probabilistic system) • Tiny / invisible objects (planes at 35,000 ft) • Making something feel magical and believable
So instead of “detecting planes,” the app: → Uses direction, location, and live flight data → Guides you toward likely matches → Explains what you’re seeing in context
This is still an exploration, but we pushed it to feel like a real, usable product — not just a concept. Pro tip : works even well when you are in an area with planes flying around!

🔗 A video of us testing this in our locality — the GPS + flight data works well. We didn’t spot any planes at the time, but it accurately told us there were none nearby.
