A product can be powerful and still be difficult to understand.
For this concept, the product had a lot going on.
My job was to simplify it without making the product feel simple.
I focused on:
โ finding the core value
โ removing unnecessary information
โ creating a clear visual story
โ using motion to make the product instantly understandable
Here are 4 frames from the concept.
I make product, launch and feature videos for SaaS and AI companies โ turning complex products into simple, exciting stories.
Water, texture, and light, reframed as a moment of reflection. This piece was about finding rhythm in stillness letting color grading and sound carry the emotion instead of cuts.
I'm Victor Rodrigues, a video editor specialized in cinematic storytelling, color grading, sound design, and mood-driven visuals. I work with brands, creators, and agencies worldwide, turning raw footage into something people actually feel.
Currently open to new projects let's create something together. ๐ฌ

I wanted to tell a short story through animation, atmosphere and cinematic storytelling. The Last Light follows Kaito, a young swordsman returning to the ruins of his village, where a mysterious girl named Ayame reveals that his familyโs past is far darker than he imagined.
The project moves through flashbacks, character interactions, supernatural battles and a final confrontation with Lord Akuma... building the story toward a cliffhanger rather than simply ending with the fight.
This was an exploration of 2D animation, character-driven storytelling, cinematic composition and anime-inspired visual direction.
