A Shopify store selling print-on-demand products had a critical issue: customers could design items in real time, but couldn’t select sizes or colors. No errors, just missing variants — and no orders.
The problem wasn’t Shopify or the product editor. The POD app was loading too early, before Shopify finished rendering product data, which blocked variants from appearing.
What I did:
Analyzed how the POD app interacted with the product page
Identified a conflict with Shopify’s variant rendering
Deferred the app load until product data was ready
Result: Sizes and colors became visible again, customers could complete purchases, and orders resumed immediately.
This kind of silent integration issue can seriously hurt conversion if left unnoticed.

This is really nice. Apps are great, but they can sometimes be limiting if they’re not set up properly.
