"Just approve it automatically" sounds efficient until something gets approved that shouldn't have been.
The better pattern: automate everything except the one decision that actually needs a human.
Here's a workflow I built that does exactly that (n8n):
→ A request comes in via webhook
→ Instead of auto-approving, it pauses and routes to a human reviewer on Telegram
→ Reviewer approves or rejects with one tap
→ The decision — and who made it, and when — gets logged automatically
No manual chasing, no lost approvals in someone's inbox, but also no AI silently making a call it shouldn't be trusted with alone.
Most automation conversations focus on "what can we remove." The more useful question is "what should stay, and how do we make that one step effortless too."
