CHALLENGE:
Design a Shipping container that has a standard pallet dimension footprint (1.0x1.2 m). The shipping container has to be stackable and support approximately 1080 lbs.
SOLUTION:
Use Frame Generator to get an accurate BOM.
Use the Sheet Metal Feature to get an accurate Flat Pattern for the Sheet Metal parts.
Used Off-The-Shelf components for assembly.
OUTCOME:
A sturdy shipping container that a forklift can lift on either side of the container.
Include the designing of removable custom localized non-welded Hooks to completely bypass structural inspection delays during transport.
