We’re Simple Creatures. An early-stage brand we’re building around a simple, very universal idea: Men are simple creatures.

That concept is the soul of the project. Everything we’re doing comes from there.

From a strategic point of view, we see a lot of potential in what’s already happening culturally, especially in organic content and social trends that revolve around men being… men. We’re trying to understand how to brand that feeling in an honest way, without overcomplicating it.

I mainly wanted to share this because I’m genuinely excited to be here. There’s a lot of real talent on Contra, and it feels like the right place to build in public, learn, and get better.

Right now we’re looking for someone to help us with a landing page, and I’m sure we’ll be around here more as the project evolves.

Why do metal gates have all those swirls?

Hint: it’s not just for the vibes.

Historically, those curves helped reinforce the structure by distributing tension through the metal.

Which is a surprisingly good metaphor for brand systems.
