Everyone talks about using AI.
Far fewer people know how to use it well.
Over the past few months, we've been talking to founders, developers and designers about how they actually work with AI. One thing keeps coming up: confidence doesn't always equal understanding.
We've met people who say, "I'm not really good with AI," but have a much better grasp of context, model selection and prompting than those who use AI every day.
That's why we're investing in AI education inside our own team.
Every engineer at SDA has access to Claude. Our CTO regularly shares his workflows in one-on-one sessions. We also recently ran a company-wide workshop on building AI agents from defining roles and prompts to real business automations and integrations.
Our view is simple. AI won't replace great engineers. But engineers who know how to use AI effectively will keep moving faster.
AI is becoming a necessity. At the same time, we don't expect everyone to know how to use it effectively from day one. Like any tool, it takes practice to master.
