I’m not a designer. I just enjoy seeing how far I can take an idea, which is why I jumped into the #FlowstepChallenge.
I built Two Good Plans, a phone-native planner that turns one group idea into two complete outings. It brings contacts, calendars, location, maps, weather, place recommendations, private preferences, and visible AI suggestions into one flow.
The idea is simple: nobody should have to explain a private need before the group can choose a plan that works for them.
I used the Flowstep MCP with Codex throughout the build. What started as a small journey grew into a 47-screen clickable prototype, covering the main planning flow, manual alternatives, permission controls, recovery states, settings, privacy tools, and day-of plan changes.
When my Flowstep messages ran out, I exported the designs to Figma and rebuilt the prototype connections there. I still returned to Flowstep for the final preview because that is where the product was designed and refined.
The workflow:
Map the product and its privacy rules
Generate the first journey through the Flowstep MCP
Inspect every screen and uncover missing branches
Add manual paths, recovery screens, and useful outcomes
Export to Figma for further prototyping
Return to Flowstep for the final preview
47 screens. Two equally good plans. No one has to explain themselves.
Built with @Flowstep, Codex, and Figma for @Contra HQ.
