I built websites for two years and got nowhere.
Not because the work was bad. Because nobody saw it.
I had no money for ads. I was too introverted to post. So the work just sat there, finished and invisible.
That's when it clicked. Being good at something and being found for it are two completely different problems, and I'd only solved one.
So I went the other way. Learned how search actually decides who gets seen. Then AI search showed up and changed the rules again, and I went deep on that too.
